Women's Circles & Wellbeing Workshops:
Terms & Conditions

• These Terms & Conditions relate to the Women's Circles & Wellbeing Workshops (the “Women's Circles”), hosted by Amy Carter Health Ltd (“ACH”).

• Reference to 'Women's Circles' is reference to all and any Women's Circles which you have purchased tickets for. 

​​

• By registering for the Women's Circles, you agree to these Terms & Conditions & will receive access to the Women's Circles on the terms set out herein.

​​

• You agree to pay the purchase price for the Women's Circles.

 

• Entry to the Women's Circles will only be permitted to those who have purchased a ticket for them.

​​

• You agree:

• • Not to share the Women's Circles meeting links or materials with any third party who has not purchased tickets for them.

  • Not to record the Women's Circles using any form of electronic media.

  • To be respectful of all other attendees participating in the Women's Circles, and to treat all information shared by other attendees as confidential. 

  • To refrain from using offensive language whilst participating in the Women's Circles.

• You acknowledge that:

  • ACH reserves the right to cancel or change the date of the Women's Circles if there is a business need to do so, in which case the Women's Circles will be re-arranged for an alternative date & you will be notified via the email address provided during registration.

  • ACH shall retain all rights, titles, interests and ownership over all and any intellectual property (meaning any intangible property including, but not limited to, creations, artistic works, designs, symbols, names and images which ACH have rights, titles, interests and/or ownership in) which may be shared with you during the course of the Women's Circles.

• You are solely responsible for ensuring that you have the equipment and devices required to join the Women's Circles, such as (but not limited to) a strong internet connection and laptop or PC.

• You acknowledge that ACH’s role is to support individuals, via the provision of education & support, to develop the confidence to make conscious, sustainable lifestyle choices which are aligned with improved health and/or the individual’s health-related goals. The following are excluded from ACH’s scope of practice:

  • Diagnosing physical and/or mental health conditions;

  • Treating or claiming to cure physical and/or mental health conditions;

  • Providing detailed dietary advice or writing detailed meal-plans;

  • Providing therapeutic protocols, treatments or nutritional supplements; and

  • Ordering or interpreting diagnostic tests such as blood, urine or saliva tests.

 

• You acknowledge, understand & agree that:

  • the information, support and suggestions provided by Amy Carter (representing ACH) during the Women's Circles are for general knowledge only;

  • ACH is not responsible for the information, support and suggestions provided by attendees of Women's Circles, and cannot attest their accuracy or completeness; 

  • the effectiveness and degree of benefit experienced as a result of attending the Women's Circles will vary between individuals;

  • you are free to decide whether to purchase any products, try any recipes or implement any lifestyle changes that may be discussed during the Women's Circles at your own discretion - you are in no way under any obligation to do so;

  • in the case of exercise, ACH advises that you seek further professional advice from your General Practitioner, personal trainer and/or other qualified professional before changing your exercise routine, and it is your responsibility to do so as you see fit;

  • the information, support and suggestions discussed during the course of the Women's Circles is not medical or mental health advice, nor is it intended to replace such advice;

  • the Women's Circles is not a substitute for professional medical care, nor should it prevent you from seeking advice or treatment from any other healthcare practitioner; and

  • you are responsible for contacting your General Practitioner or other healthcare provider regarding any health concerns which you may have - the Women's Circles in no way replace or act as a substitute for such GP contact.

 

• If you cannot attend the Women's Circles for which you have purchased a ticket, you may transfer your ticket to another Women's Circle on the condition that you email ACH (at info@amycarterhealth.co.uk) at least 48 hours before the scheduled Woman's Circle which you can no longer attend, clearly stating your wish to transfer your ticket.

• ACH does not provide refunds for Women's Circles tickets, other than in exceptional circumstances, being: 

  • where ACH cancels or reschedules a Women's Circle and you inform ACH (by emailing info@amycarterhealth.co.uk) that you can no longer make the date; and

  • other exceptional circumstances which are at the complete discretion of ACH.

 

• If you would like to request a refund,  please email info@amycarterhealth.co.uk clearly stating your wish for a refund. If/where provided, refunds will reflect the ticket price paid (and may exclude any additional transaction fee(s) paid).

• These Terms & Conditions shall not limit or exclude liabilities which cannot be limited or excluded by law, including (but not limited to) liability for death and personal injury caused by negligence. Subject to this, ACH's total aggregate liability under or in connection with these Terms & Conditions (whether such liability arises in tort, contract or in any other way and whether or not caused by negligence or misrepresentation) shall not exceed the total value of your Woman's Circle ticket(s) which was received by ACH and which has not already been refunded to you.

• These Terms & Conditions constitute the entire agreement between you and ACH  in respect of the Women's Circles and supersede all prior agreements, understandings, negotiations and discussions, whether they were written or oral. You acknowledge that you have not relied on any statement, promise, assurance, warranty, representation or undertaking which is not set out in these Terms & Conditions and shall waive any remedy in respect of any statement, promise, assurance, warranty, representation or undertaking which is not expressly incorporated in these Terms & Conditions. However, this clause does not attempt to exclude liability for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation.

• No variation of these Terms & Conditions shall be valid unless agreed in writing by both yourself and ACH.

​​

• The failure of ACH to exercise or enforce any rights or obligations under these Terms & Conditions shall not be deemed to be a waiver of such rights or obligations, or bar the exercise or enforcement of them at any time afterwards.

​​

• The unenforceability of any single provision within these Terms & Conditions shall not affect the enforceability of any other provision.

​​

• These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by the laws of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any claim, dispute or matter arising under or in connection with them.
